Create
petite treasures for your studio, home or office by making a small quilt
or Quiltlet. Choose to make your Quiltlet in a range of sizes from
3" x 3" up to 6" x 6". These tiny creations will
stretch all your skills from piecing to appliqué to quilting to
embellishing. Mini lessons include impromptu piecing, fuse appliqué
and finished edges, quick quilting for pizzazz, embellishing and
finishing your quiltlet. A selection of design shapes for your quiltlet
will be provided in class, or you may select to design your own.
*Increased class time to a full day will allow for additional beading stitches to be
taught.
Materials: No need to buy loads of fabrics and beads for this
class! Along with your sewing machine and basic sewing notions, bring
some favorite scraps, one fat quarter and a piece of batting (7" x
7") and you'll be set. Class beading kits of bead stews available in a variety of
mixes. A complete list of supplies available upon booking classes.
