Twinkling, glittering, and full of colorful texture…let’s put beads on your quilt! This class will cover the ground floor of adding sparkle to your next project. Demonstrations and discussions center around bead storage, books and resources, and bead application. Beading stitches taught include backstitch or outline beading, charm application, stop stitch beading and other crazy quilt beaded stitches.
Materials needed: Basic sewing supplies, a small quilted quiltready for embellishment or layers of fabric for embellishment practice. This is a hand beading; no machine needed for embellishing during class. A complete list available upon booking a class.
