You've heard them whispering from their vials, hanks and tubes. You've passed aisles of these beautiful wonders in the craft store. Those sparkling, glittering, and dazzling glorious beads are calling you to add them to your artwork. You feel the need to bead!

This two-day workshop will give you the tools and techniques to begin your beading journey. Day One, you will become one with the beads, learning techniques such as running stitches for various sizes of beads, stop stitches and charm application, couching, bead collage and other raised beading stitches. On Day Two you will apply your new beading guru knowledge to two projects.

The Artful Needle Book
A beautiful needle book, complete with felted wool pages for your beading, sewing, quilting and appliqué needles.   Choose from many designs including dragonfly, chameleon, moonflower, spiral, sun, rabbits, and moon/star patterns and others.  Finished size approximately 6.5" x 12.5". 

Amoeba Art Pin or Magnet
Masses of beads and thread 'float' on the surface of these colorful fiber ‘species.’  Create your own one-of-a-kind scientific wonders to wear, display or give as gifts. These amoebas can be fashioned into pins, magnets, framed or added to other art projects. Finished size approximately 2” x 2”.
